Is it really free?

Yes — the design idea and your quote are completely free and no-obligation. If you'd like a hand-drawn design of your exact piece, there's a small, fully-refundable design deposit that's credited in full to your finished piece.

What's it made of — does my metal matter?

Maisie remodels yellow and rose gold. White gold, platinum and silver can't be melted down for a remodel — but she can value those pieces and put the money towards a brand-new piece in yellow or rose gold, and stones can often be reset into the new design. Pick your metal in the quiz and she'll give you real numbers.

Is it safe to post my jewellery?

Completely. You only send your pieces after you've approved the design. Shipping is fully insured and tracked both ways, and we guide you through how to package it.

What if I don't like the design?

You'll choose from real pieces Maisie has made and approve a hand-drawn design before anything is made. Nothing is melted or set until you're genuinely happy.

How much does it cost?

Remodels start from £350. Every piece is quoted individually, with a fixed price up front — no surprises. Your quote is the making (labour), plus a chain if your piece needs one, plus any extra gold if there isn't quite enough of your own. And the lovely part: if melting your gold leaves some spare, Maisie credits the leftover back to you, so your price comes down. Got plenty of gold? You can even make more than one piece.
